Payment
Upon receipt of the invoice, payment must be made within five working days and in any case before the start of the event.
A participant’s spot is only reserved once full payment has been received. If payment is not received by the due date, Jambat may (at its discretion) cancel the registration and release the spot for other participants (e.g., waitlist).
Currency note: All fees and administrative charges apply in the currency shown on the invoice. For camps invoiced in CHF (typically Switzerland), amounts apply in CHF; for camps invoiced in EUR (typically Euro-zone), amounts apply in EUR.
Payment reminders / administrative fees (if applicable):
If payment remains outstanding after a first reminder, Jambat may charge an administrative processing fee of:
- CHF 20 / EUR 20 with the second reminder
- CHF 50 / EUR 50 with the third reminder
If payment is still not received before the event start, the participant may not participate and the cancellation provisions below apply.
If participation is no longer desired, please notify us immediately at: info@jambat-tabletennis.com
Registration
Registration for Jambat Camps must be completed by the parent or legal guardian.
After receipt of the registration, you will receive a written confirmation by email along with an invoice for payment of the participation fee. If the confirmation email is not received, you are obliged to contact the administration at info@jambat-tabletennis.com.
Without proof of confirmation, there is no entitlement to participate in the program.
Registrations are no longer possible after the registration deadline.
Scope of registration:
Registrations apply to the camp duration and format as described on the registration page (e.g., full week, weekend, day-camp). Unless explicitly stated otherwise for a specific event, no price reduction is granted for missed days.
Exception (illness/accident):
In the event of illness or accident, a medical certificate may be required; any resulting compensation is handled according to the cancellation provisions below.
Pre-care / After-care / Full-day supervision (Care Services)
Care services may be offered depending on the event and must be booked as described on the registration page and within the registration deadline (unless stated otherwise).
For clarity, the following definitions apply:
- Pre-care: supervised care before the official camp program start time (no regular training content unless explicitly stated).
- After-care: supervised care after the official camp program end time (no regular training content unless explicitly stated).
- Full-day supervision: combines pre-care + after-care for the day(s) as defined for the event.
Exact times, scope (e.g., supervision only vs. additional activities), and inclusions (e.g., meals) are specified in the relevant event information.
Care services may be bookable for the entire event duration only or per module (depending on the event) and subject to capacity.
Booked but unused care services:
Booked but unused care services are not refundable in cash. However, upon written request, Jambat may (at its discretion) allow an exchange/credit in the form of a voucher for another Jambat service within the following calendar year, with the participant paying any price difference if applicable. Vouchers are non-transferable unless explicitly agreed otherwise.
Cancellation
Cancellations are accepted exclusively by email at info@jambat-tabletennis.com.
Currency note: All cancellation fees, processing fees, and vouchers apply in the invoice currency (CHF or EUR).
Up to 3 weeks before the camp start:
The amount will be refunded as a voucher, minus a processing fee of CHF 50 / EUR 50.
If the camp fee has not yet been paid, a processing fee of CHF 50 / EUR 50 will be invoiced.
From 3 weeks before the camp start:
No refund of camp fees will be made.
If the camp fee has not yet been paid, the full camp fee will be invoiced.
In case of illness or accident (with medical certificate):
The amount will be refunded as a voucher, minus a processing fee of CHF 50 / EUR 50.
If the camp fee has not yet been paid, a processing fee of CHF 50 / EUR 50 will be invoiced.
Missed individual camp days due to illness or accident:
Upon presentation of a medical certificate, the missed day will be refunded as a voucher of CHF 50 / EUR 50 per day (unless the event description states a different compensation method).
No-show / no written cancellation:
If no written cancellation is submitted (e.g., participation was forgotten), the full participation fee will be charged.
Voucher rules:
Vouchers can be redeemed for Jambat services according to the voucher terms provided and are generally not payable in cash. Voucher validity is typically limited to the period stated on the voucher (unless mandatory law requires otherwise).
Cancellation by Jambat
The program takes place only if the minimum number of participants is reached. Jambat reserves the right to cancel the program at any time with full refund of the participation fees already paid.
Liability & Insurance – Accident / Illness / Property Damage
Public liability insurance (organizer):
Jambat aims to maintain appropriate public liability insurance for its camps and activities, subject to the applicable country and event setup. Information on coverage can be provided upon request for the specific camp.
Participant insurance (mandatory/strongly recommended):
Participants are responsible for having adequate personal insurance, in particular:
- health insurance,
- accident insurance,
- and (where applicable) personal liability insurance and travel insurance.
Limitation of liability:
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Jambat is liable only for damages caused by intent or gross negligence. For minor negligence, Jambat is liable only in the event of a breach of essential contractual obligations (cardinal duties) and limited to foreseeable, typical damages.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under mandatory law (e.g., liability for certain personal injuries or statutory consumer rights).
Liability – Theft / Loss
Jambat is not liable for theft or loss of valuables or cash brought to the camp.
Health Information
By registering, it is confirmed that participants are healthy and fully fit for sports activities and can complete the training program without restrictions.
Participants take part in training at their own responsibility.
Allergies, required medication, and disabilities must be communicated in writing to Jambat and the camp management before the start of the event.
Conduct & Implementation
Participants must follow the instructions of the camp management.
If instructions are repeatedly ignored, the management may exclude participants from training or from the program. In such cases, no refund of participation fees will be granted.
Photo, Video & Data Rights
By registering, participants and their legal guardians agree that photos and video recordings of participants may be created and used by Jambat and its partners, contractors, and other parties involved in the organization and delivery of the camp (including, but not limited to, external coaches, photographers, videographers, sponsors, and media partners) for distribution, public presentation (including online), social media, and promotional purposes, unless mandatory local law requires a different consent standard.
Where applicable by law, consent can be withdrawn for future use; this does not affect lawful processing already carried out.
Severability
If individual provisions of these Terms & Conditions are invalid or unenforceable, they shall be replaced by provisions that come as close as possible to the intended economic purpose. The remaining provisions remain valid and unaffected.
